Our philosophy at A. Luongo & Sons is that we are in a partnership with our customer. We will work with you during the design, prototype, pre-production and production stages of any project. We will offer suggestions and ideas to improve part manufacturability.

EDM

We offer both Wire EDM and conventional EDM services. We have over 15 years of EDM experience and can meet many of your requirements. Since we have a full complement tool room we can work from your prepared block or directly from your print, .dxf or .dwg file which you can e-mail to us. We hold a tight tolerance which produces a very smooth finish. (How to send us a large file)

CNC MACHINING

Our capability for CNC machining allows us to service your needs for machined parts and to complement our press department for stamped parts which may require secondary machining operations. Once again, our goal is to satisfy the unique requirements of our customer while maintaining a watchful eye on quality and cost.

STAMPING

We can stamp a variety of materials from .001 to .200 in thickness. All of our presses are air clutch with light curtains and offer choice of air, roll or servo feeds. They are Minster presses with scheduled maintenance performed on an ongoing basis. Every stamp part is accompanied by a "job traveler" documenting inspection checks which are performed at timed intervals throughout the run. All of our stamped parts, unless otherwise documented, go though our finishing department where they are degreased, tumbled and dried before shipping.

DEBURRING TECHNOLOGY

Our capabilities include vibratory finishing sanders that also apply rust preventative and special handling for delicate parts. Spiral products are burr-free.

TOOLING

We have over 110 years of combined tooling experience. All work is performed in-house, which allows for cost-efficiency, quality control, and the ability to manufacture replacement parts in short notice.

We build progressive, compound, and single station dies while keeping a close eye on detail. Since we also stamp parts, we offer very competitive pricing on tools that are run in-house.

ASSEMBLIES

We have the capability to perform many types of assemblies from simply bolting one part to another to self clinching fastener installations, riveting, welding, and brazing. We have manufactured many assemblies which require the affixing together of different stamped components which are then placed into specifically designed and molded trays. The packaged product may then be drop-shipped directly from our facility to the customer.
